These terms apply when you use realestateinsight.com.au, run by Real Estate Insight ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The service
Real Estate Insight is a free tool that estimates the costs, cash flow, tax and returns of buying Australian residential property. It gives general information only. It is not financial, tax, credit or legal advice, and it doesn't consider your personal objectives, finances or needs. Read our disclaimer.
We may change, add or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the service free, but we may offer paid features in future. If we do, you'll be told before you're charged anything.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
- We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, scrape or copy it in bulk, overload it with automated requests, try to access other people's data, or upload anything harmful. Use of the browser extension endpoint is limited to the official extension.
Your content and share links
You own what you enter. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service. When you turn on a share link, anyone with the link can view that analysis until you turn it off. Only share links with people you trust.
Our content
The site's design, text, code and calculations belong to Real Estate Insight. You can use reports you create for your own purposes, including sharing them with your advisers.
Liability
We work hard to keep rates and rules accurate, but laws, rates and markets change, and estimates can be wrong. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we'll let account holders know by email. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
