About this estimate. General information, not advice. Duty rates for contracts signed from 1 July 2026, checked against each revenue office's own calculator, and 2026-27 title office fees for electronic lodgement. Concessions have conditions we can't check, such as residency, how long you live in the home and whether you've owned property before. Your conveyancer confirms the final figure. New homes and land only

First home buyer relief removes all stamp duty on a brand-new home, a home bought off the plan, or vacant land you'll build a new home on, with no price cap. There's no relief on established homes, so the choice between new and established makes a large difference in SA.
